Smithville Awards Water System Contract to San Antonio Firm
Fischer's Frank Butcher Company of San Antonio won the Smithville water extensions and improvements contract out of 16 bidders. The $61,544.04 award, approved by the City Council, covers a new six inch water line, a pressure pump, additional lines, and fire plugs citywide as part of the sewer and water project funded by $300,000 bonds. Work to begin soon after December 1.
