A fall fashion parade was presented by Alex Ferris at a luncheon of the Austin Official Ladies Club in the Austin Hotel. Zelda Zinn hosted the revue with cosmetics talk by Mrs. Jeannette Kraft. Hats were from Meta's and Leon's Slipper Shop provided shoes and bags.

Baker Scouts Honor 31 Badges At Halloween Meeting
Assisting the Travis County Tuberculosis Association Girl Scouts of Troop 150 at Baker School folded 1900 Christmas seals. Mrs Winfred Hawkins shared the seal story and TB care. a panel discussed cooking and model kitchens. Thirty-one badges were awarded at a Halloween party hosted by Anamary Pate with readings, acting, song, and a Halloween decor.

The City Recreation Department announces schedule revisions for Metz School activities. Blue Jays meet 3 to 4 30 p m Mondays and Thursdays. Red Birds for 1 year old girls 2 30 to 3 p m Tuesday Thursday and Friday in Room F 5. Tuesday 3 to 4 p m square and folk dancing for ages 10 to 14 in the gym. Friday 3 to 4 p m girls 10 to 14 in the gym. Evening indoor sports for boys 10 to 14 6 30 to 8 p m in the gym and for boys over 4 and men 8 to 9 30 p m Monday 6 30 to 8 30 p m. Family community night in the auditorium 7 30 to 10 p m Tuesday. Wednesday 7 p m teen and adult square and folk dancing in the gym.
