Envoy to Nicaragua Recalled to Launch Point Four Aid
Ambassador Capus M. Waynick is recalled from Nicaragua to speed the Point Four program aid for underdeveloped areas. State Department cites urgency as Congress prepares to authorize 35 million dollars over the next year for American and foreign technician training and assistance. Waynick will lead temporarily and remains ambassador while Ambassador James Bruce was recalled from Argentina to launch the Europe and other regions arms program.
