Fort Worth faced its second worst flood as six people died and 13200 were left homeless. Homes near Soldier Mound were wrecked and other twisters touched Lubbock Daugherty Silvert on Rochester and Meeker Oklahoma causing damage but few injuries. A separate wind storm damaged Hastings Naval Ammunition Depot with no casualties.
