Lawrence Kansas May 12. University of Kansas dean of men L C Woodruff says Stag Week is officially abandoned after an incident injuring nine students. Several hundred dorms were ransacked with threats and water poured on rugs and furniture. No one was seriously hurt and hospital treatment was minimal. Deputy sheriff said tear gas was sought but not used.
