LaFleur Receives 99 Years For Shooting Robbery

Newton crime report states Paul LaFleur was convicted Friday of robbing and shooting Don Hulsopple 19 of Orange. He was sentenced to 99 years and one day in the penitentiary. LaFleur, a 30-year-old Houston man, already faced life for raping Hul sopple's young female companion. The death penalty was not imposed.

Grand Jury Recommends Easier DWI Penalties in Texas
