Defense Prepares New Trial Motion in Roper Case
A motion for a new trial in the five year penitentiary sentence for Dr. C. HB. Roper was being prepared after a 98th District Court jury found him guilty in the July 18 1948 rifle slaying of 21 year old Dripping Springs man McCreary Crow.
