Austinite Injured In Train Car Collision Near Burnet
James Lloyd Belver, 37, a carpenter from Austin, was seriously hurt when his eastbound car collided with Missouri Pacific Texas Eagle No. 22 at the Burnet Road crossing about 4 10 p m. He remained in fair condition at Brackenridge Hospital with head lacerations back injuries possible rib fractures and loss of blood. Witnesses from Missouri Pacific were installing a signal at the crossing. Investigating officers listed no cause due to Belver’s shock. He lives at 1000 The Circle and was returning from Bertram to a Veterans Hospital in Waco.
