Fire Destroys Three Johnson City Businesses

A major blaze in Johnson City destroyed Bauerle Haines Hardware Fawcett's Drug Store and Dr James Bauerle dental offices on the west side of the business district. Volunteers salvaged stock valued at up to 25 thousand dollars while heat damaged nearby shops. Fire supports from Blanco Marble Falls Fredericksburg and others aided. water sources included a creek and a distant stock tank.
