No will was located for the estimated 250000 estate of Miss Susan Hancock Stalnaker 72 found dead in a squalid Guadalupe Street home. Attorneys doubt a hidden will exists as officers watch the property and heirs await possible disposition of real estate and other funds. Private funeral services were held and burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery.
The Austin Cosmopolitan Club announced a drive placing food barrels in 66 groceries next week for Salvation Army winter relief. Members urge customers to add non perishable items as barrels go in by midweek with pickups by local firms and Christmas campaign running through the holiday.
A midnight auto-truck crash two miles east of Bastrop on US Highway 290 left Fredericksburg resident Mark Marlow with facial injuries. He was thrown from the overturned truck and hospitalized in Bastrop. Drivers Joseph Stolarz of Los Angeles and William Frederick Schneer of Fredericksburg were uninjured.
Two month old Ronald Bernacki in East Chicago will not have his lower front tooth for Christmas after a dentist extracted it. The tooth had punctured his milk bottle nipple and cut his tongue.
