Adrian's fall and winter fashion preview features bold color

Hollywood designer Adrian highlights black as daytime and evening wear with striking colors like eggplant and sapphire blue. Silk chiffon and lace dominate evening gowns, including five deep shade chiffron pieces. Short dresses outnumber full lengths, with shoulder drapes and diagonal bands. A Spanish influence appears in day and evening wear, with heavy braid tassels and sequins. Slim lines persist in suits, hipbone jackets, and skirts about 14 inches from the floor. Buffalo Bill fringed jacket inspires a top garment in dark gray wool with many loose tabs.
