Constable Thetgee recaptures Goodpasture after chase
A new constable in Centre township confronted Goodpasture who had stolen a coat. He surrendered when warned by Thetgee and was lodged in the watch house. He escaped during a brief absence, leaving the area for parts unknown. Also notes teachers meeting in Dearborn county and German Debating Society farewells.
