Epic Ode to Major Milliken at Manchester Service

A memorial ode praising Major Milliken, son of Elias and Mary Milliken, born October 16, 1803 in Stetson Maine. He settled in Manchester Indiana, moved to Missouri in 1858, then Iowa, where he joined the army and died May 23 1863 near Vicksburg from wounds. A preacher Rev A J Cotton led the tribute on August 27 1863.
