Indiana officials urge citizens to aid a thorough revision of the enrollment for the draft. Governor Morton backs public meetings and committees to quickly and accurately adjust lists, stressing that quota allocations are fixed once made and corrections do not change totals.
Governor Morton urges sub-district boards to purge improper names from draft rolls and to enroll all liable residents. Enrollments should reflect true eligibility, with public lists posted for corrections.
