Lawrenceburg council okays bonds to fund city debt
The Common Council of Lawrenceburg has passed an ordinance to issue city bonds funding the floating debt. David Crosby was found guilty of beating his wife and jailed in default of bail. A large Sugar Grove camp meeting ended Thursday with strong attendance and success. A German cricket club forms among Lawrenceburg youths and plans a Teutonic lodge. Liddell survived a 20 foot fall at the woolen mill while digging a well, with a brick tub landing on him but causing no serious injury. Court notes include Medler found guilty of grand larceny and sent to the penitentiary for two years. damages awarded in Hamilton & McCausland vs I & C R R. and other cases continued or decided. The court adjourns today with cases awaiting next term. An agricultural society forms in Ripley county and a fall fair is planned for Osgood.
