Correction notes an error in last week's notice for the Moore's Hill event. Rev J L Trefren of Nevada will preach at the M E Church, then lecture on The Resources of the Pacific Coast tomorrow morning and Monday evening. Admission to the lecture is 25 cents. The Dearborn County Agricultural Society elected officers at the Fair Grounds, with President John Walker and a full board, and adjourned to meet May 2. An accident on the Aurora Moore's Hill turnpike near Hogback injured no one seriously, but the buggy was wrecked and the horse unhurt. the incident may push road repairs. Spring building resumes with several new brick business houses planned along Second and Third streets, plus a substantial hay warehouse on Morrizon and George. An altercation led to a stabbing at the Mansion House on Second Street. the injured proprietor Mr Heimburger was expected to recover in Kentucky.
