Buena Vista chapter of DeMolay held its second annual Turkey shoot at the Archie Mackay farm near Aurelia on Sunday. Twenty boys competed in shotgun and rifle events designed to simulate hunting conditions. Shotgun winner was Mark Fordyce of Aurelia with runners up Tom Hucke and Randy Miller. Rifle winner was Corwin Miller of Aurelia with runner up Dale Gray of Alta.
A car wash will be held on the east side of the schoolhouse this Saturday September 25 from 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. It charges two dollars per car and is sponsored by the Medical Career Club.
