The Aurelia Woman's club met Sept 12 at the Storm Lake Shelter house for a picnic lunch with 19 members and one guest. Leaders Mrs. Blanche Hickey and Mrs. Olive Johnson read papers on Trees. Leone Mumert to host next meeting.
A Sunday potluck at D. J. Friedlund’s home drew friends and relatives including Harold Gould Diane Elmer Friedlund from Alta and Linn Grove guests Gilbert Bell Albert City and Grover Bell Marcalyn.Teas and dinners followed visits from W C Patten family Lloyd Patten furlough homecoming and gatherings with Walter Vought Elston Miller Peterson Coombs and Patten relatives.
Tuesday afternoon Bridge club met at the Storm Lake shelter house for a picnic and bridge. High honors went to Mrs. Winfred Moulton, second to Mrs. Fred Jordan, low to Mrs. Roy Matzdorff, traveling to Mrs. Imp Krout. Mr and Mrs Dan Sweet hosted visiting relatives at dinner Sunday with guests from Sioux City and Washington Indiana.

Wednesday 4 15 Junior High Youth Fellowship.
Mt Olive Baptist Church announces Sunday school at 10 a.m. Morning worship and preaching at 11. Bible class at 7 p.m. Sunday evening service at 8 and midweek service Thursday at 8 led by Rev Loyal Hiatt.
