Mrs W M Borth honored guests at supper Wednesday with friends from East Afton and surrounding areas. Several visits and travels linked residents to Aurelia Coluorady Springs Des Moines and LeMars with birthdays nurses training and family gatherings noted.
Mr and Mrs LeRoy Goettsch and daughters visited the A A Davis home in Aurea. Families from Aurelia and nearby towns attended dinners, suppers, picnics, and calls at homes of Gerjets, Goettsch, Brickson, Booth, and others. Several residents visited relatives in Cherokee and Sioux Valley Hospital.

The correctionville directed band led by Glenn Barto of Correctionville will close its summer concert series with an extra Saturday performance in Auprelia and trade territory. The club plans weekly lessons at the schoolhouse, school credits for members, and welcomes junior band students under Mr. Parkinson of L Mars for next season.

Fred Radke family drove to Winnebago Nebraska Monday to visit Russel Axson. Esther Radke returned with them after a week there. Louie Bruegeman family from Roswell SD visited relatives here and left Tuesday morning. Herman Hinkeldey visited John D Otte in Galva Tuesday. August Miller of Galva spent Wednesday with Wm Specketer. Louie Buman family of Alexandria MN, George Buman family and Eddie Buman visited Fred Buman Thursday evening. Milton Otto and family traveled to LeMars then Milton boarded a train to St Paul MN for college work. Rev and Mrs Paul of Lakefield MN visited Prof J Schmidt Sunday.
