Narrow Escape Injures Student in College Lab
Winnie Lockyn of Mornsingside College Sioux City suffered a serious eye injury in a chemical lab accident last Saturday. A vial of sulfuric acid spilled on his face and eyes as he halted after being called, causing pain and a hurried trip to the city for treatment. Doctors say temporary visual impairment is likely but eyesight will not be lost, and he will return home after weeks of rest and care.
