The United Methodist Women gathered in Fellowship Hall on October 14 with Mrs. Walter Meinking as door hostess. Mrs. Hugo Hucke led the business meeting and opened with a reading, The Devil's Beatitudes. Minutes from September were approved and the treasurer Mrs. James Nelson reported. Several notes of appreciation were read and committee reports given.
Goodwill Industries mitten tree will be set up at the November meeting. The Worship Center was arranged by Mrs. John Hartwig Mrs. Murlan Haight and Mrs. Duane Buttenob. Devotions theme The Towel and the Cross. Buttenob led a program Let Us Give Thanks. Lunch on committee members listed. Mary Circle and Martha Circle meet at church and home respectively tomorrow. Jolly Jones Club met Oct 19 with prize winners named. Baby shower planned for Heather Schipper at the Schipper home on Nov 8. Evening card party set for Nov 16 at the Robar home. Christmas party and card party planned for Dec 21 at Ken-a-Bob's Storm Lake.
