Doctor Thompson calls Rankin and police to the campus as investigators determine the death is caused by poisoning that suppresses respiration. Captain Rankin and the university physician begin a formal inquiry with Ed Fletcher, Mr. Warwick, and others seeking the truth behind the mysterious fatal incident.
