The ceremony featured ruby red and pink roses with pink velvet streamers and pearls as gifts. Matron of honor Mrs. Lowell Wascher of Yankton wore pink chiffon. Bridesmaids Sandra and Jacqueline Bock wore pink gowns and ruby accents. Groom's sister Linda Pixler and Brent Young attended. Best man Brent and groomsmen Don Oglesby and Richard Pixler stood with escort ushers from Denver, Cherokee, and Yankton.
Miss Janice Gould of Emmetsburg married in Cherokee with guests from Aurora Denver Colorado Springs Shaw Air Force Base and many Iowa towns. The ceremony featured organist Mrs. Dean Will and pianist Mrs. Jan Miller performing Love Story and The Wedding Prayer. Hosts included Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lundell of Cherokee.
A sequence of social visits is reported from Sunset Knoll with residents from Alta Cherokee Holstein Storm Lake Galva Adrian Minn. paying calls to neighbors including Clare Ohlson Sophie Mahler Augusta Menke Martha Hinkeldey and others across November.
Monday Menu features orange juice tuna noodle hot dish hot rolls and butter jam vegetables fruit and milk. Tuesday serves mashed potatoes and gravy sliced turkey cranberry sauce green beans bread and butter ice cream and milk. Wednesday offers weiner on bun potato chips and catsup buttered corn chocolate pudding a cookie and milk.
Roman Rudnytsky, concert pianist and University of Indiana faculty, will perform on November 18 at 8:00 p.m. in Schaller Memorial Chapel at Buena Vista College Storm Lake. Sponsored by Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, tickets cost 1 for high school students and 2 for adults with group rates available through the college music department.
