Flower Show rules mark entries by division including Horticulture and Artistic sections. Classes cover peonies roses iris delphinium aquilegia oriental poppy pyrethrum and other perennials with junior divisions and age groups. Garden Club sponsors junior worship event on June 1 with numerous committee chairs listed.
The Aurelia Garden Club hosts a Junior Worldship at the Shelter House on Saturday June 1 from 1 30 to 4 30 p m. Children aged 5 to 15 are invited for an afternoon of instruction and flower arranging practice. Adults beyond the age group may attend and each participant should bring a flower show item.
The schedule lists required materials for flower show entries including containers and floral supplies. Juniors planning pressed leaf displays should prepare leaves in advance. Project meeting will discuss all Junior Department classes and contacts include Mrs. Garland Hickey Mrs. George Wharton Jr. Mrs. Herbert Hanger and Mrs. Jerry Kruger.
