Community Socials Highlight Week Across Cherokee Iowa
Twenty two members of the Friendship club hosted a housewarming for Mrs. Levi Lundquist. A surprise birthday party for Mrs. Swanson featured kitchen bingo and gifts for ten guests. Various Pinochle clubs met with high and low score winners named, and numerous birthdays celebrated. An annual pre kindergarten party and mothers tea drew fifty four children and mothers with program songs, a flute solo, and luncheon. The week closed with a Women’s Club luncheon at the Congregational church where Sanctuaries was discussed.
