Twenty eight girls attended Polly Gano’s seventh birthday at the Lawrence Anderson home. Mary Guild circle met with devotions by Mrs. George Wharton Sr. and a Family Christian Life lesson by Mrs. Helmer Carlberg. Aurelia Garden club held a breakfast at Storm Lake Shelter house as district meet links. Pythian Sisters Temple No. 72 held May events with new visiting committee and Temple Mother elections. Friendship night planned in Cherokee and a Mothers Day program with readings and songs. Town and Country club played five hundred with multiple winners. A dinner honored Beverly Otto’s confirmation at St. Paul’s Lutheran church with Rev. E H Wehrspann and family attending.
