Afton Homemakers met at the Community Building with 14 ladies and 2 children. Chairman Herola Kindas announced tentative Family Night date May 11 with speaker Blannine. Members discussed the project Sharmne Family Responsibilities and viewed photos. Embroidery and cake decorating demonstrations followed.
Mrs Cherokes and guests hosted a Friendship Club meeting at Mrs Cari Fubmar’s home on April 28 with 14 members and 2 guests. The next meeting is planned for April 28 at Nelson Cafe with Mrs James Cutler as hostess. Guests included Mrs Hermar Kadme and Mrs Kester Andersen. The minutes record pledge, readings, and program notes with safety lesson and a Snow White illustration.
Guests included Mrs Max Gilser Mrs Ernest Tuttle Jr Mars Art Wescott Mrs Lange and Miss Kathleen Jones. President Ivar Carlson led the business meeting and social afternoon at COTMLESIS hosted by Mrs George Nelson. Prizes awarded to Wire Warne Garson and Mrs Ernes Ture Jr with hostess prize to Mrs Bill Bergert. Next gathering set at the corner of Wire. Ronald Peck Jr Wey ihre.
Listings cover St. Paul Lutheran Zion United Church of Christ Trinity Lutheran Alta and Mount Olive Baptist churches. Times include services at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School at 9:15 or 9:45 a.m. and midweek classes, choirs, and fellowship events scheduled May 6 to May 13.
