Aurelia Golf Teams Post Mixed Spring Results
Aurelia golf teams finished 3 wins and 3 losses with girls 2–1 and boys 1–2. On April 22 the girls beat Paulina 229 to 243 with scores by Martinsen and Rath. The boys lost to Paulina 180–173 as Bowen, Coombs, Ammons and Huseman led scoring. April 27 saw losses to Laurens for both squads, girls 247–237 and boys 197–173. In a triangular with Alta and Holstein the boys won 173–177–185 while the girls won 232–237–238 led by Martinsen Rath Fierk and Barb Martinsen. The Aurelia girls host sectional Friday at 9:00 a.m. with eight teams. boys sectional action is Saturday at Cherokee with 17 teams.
