Aurelia Teen Escapes Injury In Railroad Collision
Jim Nelson an 18 year old Aurelia high school student escaped serious injury after his 1947 Chevrolet was struck by an Illinois Central engine at a gravel road crossing west of Aurelia. The impact swung the car but left Nelson unhurt. He is the son of Mr and Mrs H F Nelson of east Aurelia.
