Nine Martha Circle members visited the Heritage Center in Grand Meadow after a potluck. The 72nd Martha reunion was hosted by Mrs. Hazel Hicks at the Shelter House in Aurelia City Park on June 26 with 65 guests at a 12:30 picnic. Mrs. Kenneth Martin and her California relatives traveled the farthest.
From Illinois Nebraska and Iowa towa entertainment included swimming races for youngsters and an afternoon of ice cream. The 1978 reunion is planned for the fourth Sunday in June. Jolly Janes members hosted a picnic June 21 at Aurela Shelter House with Mr and Mrs Pat Cline Jr and family. Plans for another picnic July 19 at the same site. Embroidery Club meets July 1 at 2 00 p m with Mrs Tena Grienke. American Legion Auxiliary meets July 5 at 2 00 p m in the Legion Hall. Mr and Mrs Lowell Gano hosted a Sunday night gathering honoring Mr and Mrs Floyd Whitman of Kingsley for their 50th anniversary with guests from Parker Prairie Brainard Milford Vancouver Wash Cherokee and Peterson. Mrs Ernest Otto hosted a surprise dinner honoring Mr and Mrs Lee and Anderson of Cleghorn for their 28th wedding anniversary.
Lake and Anderson families are listed with relatives including Angie Anderson and Craig Eischen of Menomonee Falls Wisconsin Elmer Hanson and Lowell Gano with Greg Gano of Vancouver Washington Leland Anderson plus Mitch and Darren.
