Letters from Wo Baxter North Brook N Githeala and others extol DeWitts Witch Hazel Salve for quick cures of piles bowel trouble and skin irritations. Endorsers claim rapid relief, with testimonials mentioning ulcers and skin defenses while warning against worthless imitations.
An advertisement touts Buecklen's Arnen Salve for skin eruptions, bruises, burns, ulcers, and piles at 25 cents a box with guaranteed cure. Bundy Nelson and others listed as sellers in multiple towns. Also promotes One Minute Cough Cure as a rapid remedy for coughs, colds, bronchitis, and grippe. Numerous misspellings and inconsistent claims reflect an early 20th century classifieds tone.
A long excerpt records Geo M Miller detailing committee work in 1907 on clerical fee examinations, disputes over period coverage, and the decision to audit semi annually. It mentions Mr McNeal, Mr McCulla, James O Donnell, and the Board, with references to the clerk’s unpaid or disputed fees and related governance actions.
