Official publication announces a special school election in Galva Iowa covering Ida Sac Buena Vista and Cherokee counties on July 12 1967. Voters decide on issuing bonds up to 30000 dollars to add an industrial arts shop to the high school building with Legion Hall Galva as the polling place from noon to 7 pm. The sample ballot explains YES NO markings and includes the secretary of the school board facsimile signature.
The Galva Community School District in Ida Sac Buena Vista and Cherokee counties Iowa issues a notice led by Lorna Heinse secretary of the board. The document references the secretary and the school district governance in multiple counties Iowa.
In the season opener Paullina Panthers defeated Aurelia High 2 to 1. Ammons, D Meuller limited Aurelia to two hits while Pauling fanned six for Paullina. Menefee and Jones provided Aurelia’s two hits with Schmidt and D Meuller adding Paullina singles.
City League results show Majors Reds, Blues, Greens and Blacks games with varied scores as Reds and Blues split, Greens dominating. Peewee practice schedule lists daily start times from June 15 to June 23 for B Midgets A Midgets All Stars Reds Blues Greens Blacks and other teams.
Mr and Mrs Eugene Schipper of Brainerd Minnesota visited relatives in Brainerd and left Friday for Harford Connecticut to sail to Europe. They will attend the 450th Anniversary of the Reformation at Whittenberg East Germany and visit relatives in Germany Sweden and Holland. Eugene completed a year of interning at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd and will enter further training.
Christine Ann Ebrecht and Roberta Dee Ebrecht return from Chicago after ten days at the Jack Cline home while parents trip to Colorado. Relatives visit Clifford Benson and Paul Freed homes in Cherokee and Calumet. Luther League delegates attend Grandview College Des Moines. Other dinner guests include H H Otto, Ruth, Lois, and Reuben Ohlson household members.
Brent of Marion and Mrs. Joe Donnelly of Huntington Beach Calif with her aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs Archie Grimes of Des Moines referenced in wedding notice phrasing.

The markets report prices for Aurelia markets on Wednesday afternoon. Eggs Grade A 19 cents Grade B and Med 14 cents. Chex, Dirts and Pullets 12 cents. Grain prices show corn oats and beans with oats at 2.20 per bushel and beans at 2.67. Farmers Co op Co paid $1.20 for corn.
