IKE BIRD DEAD AT HOME OF PARENTS IN MONETT
Tance Bird son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Bird of Monett Missouri died Sunday night after becoming ill while visiting his parents. He had suffered poor health for months and had recently been in St Louis before returning home. He grew up near Monett, lived in Aurelia Mitchell and Aurora before settling in Monett with his wife Lupita Stone and their son. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon with Knights of Pythias escort and burial at the local cemetery.
