Cherokee county fair show postponed due to death of member
The Saturday program set for June 10 is postponed after the death of Mrs. Gillet, a club member. The event will keep the theme Garden Dreams with 32 classes across three divisions. Entries are open to Cherokee county residents. Co chairs are Mrs. Geo. Wharton Jr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnson. Public invited. admission free.

Gustafsons Plan Three Month Trip to Sweden
Mr and Mrs August Gustafson left Sunday night for Sweden. They travel by train to New York City and will board the Gripsholm for the Atlantic crossing. They will stay at Guttenburg. The Gustafsons expect to be away about three months.
