A July start sets a ten cent bounty per gopher. Claimants must show proof within thirty days, presenting front feet and chins of the gopher to the proper officer. The county board may require additional proof and appoint registrars to receive killings proofs. Auditor and registrars’ compensation fixed by the board and deducted from the bounty, up to a percentage limit.
A bulletin from the Experiment Station at Ames Iowa outlines the best evergreen trees for town farms, including planting, cultivation, and adaptability to local conditions. It promotes tree growing, offers a free abstract for farmers, and notes a July 4 6 celebration in Estherville commemorating local history.

The schedule lists devotions, addresses by L Os born and L A Garrison, and talks on education, youth, missions, and stewardship with multiple sermons and committee appointments. In Des Moines May 25 1907 Attorney General Dyers endorses the Stillman law view and supports cooperative grain companies enforcing the protection clause. The opinion finds no conflict with the Stillman act and states the clause merely commits members to share managing and operating expenses.
An Iowa court finds no Stillman Act violation in cooperative grain companies plans to pay a percent of grain sales to other dealers.
