The Afton township Farm Bureau will meet Monday June 9 at 8 p.m. in the Community building Harmon D Seely M D will be guest speaker for the evening. Entertainment will be by Gloria and Eleanor Remillard of Storm Lake who will perform tap ballet and acrobatic dancing. Free lunch will be served by the committee.

Mrs Charles Schulke returned Monday from Des Plaines Trl where she had spent the past two weeks with her sister Mrs John Quinn. Mrs Quinn, injured in an automobile accident, was released from Elmhurst Hospital two weeks ago and is recovering at home. Mr and Mrs Roy Johnson of Bettendorff, Mrs J N Ostergaard of Cedar Falls and the Paul Jones.
