The Aurelia Sentinel lists per year pricing for Cherokee County in advance at 3.50 dollars and outside county at 4.00 dollars. Classified ads and readers charge 15 cents per line with a 75 cent minimum for the first insertion. Cards of Thanks cost 1.50 each per insertion.
Seventy two Aurelia Friendly Seniors met for weekly potluck at the Aurelia Community Center. Guests included June Chapman of Newell Annabelle Williams of Washington Ind and Tony and Ole Christensen of Newell. President Edwin Meyer led the business meeting. Twelve Aurelia members attended the Cherokee County meeting in Cherokee Friday. The June 6 13 committee will be Mr and Mrs Harry Pingel Mr and Mrs Chas Henkel.
A public hearing is scheduled for 12 45 P M on June 3 1977 in the Aurelia city council rooms to hear an appeal of a zoning administrator’s denial of a building permit to Ronald Tuttle. The board may hear testimony from interested parties in person by agent or attorney, to uphold or overturn the decision. Dated May 31 1977.
Birthday night for Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Carson featured a Gettysburg Address reading by Arlene McCarty and a Memorial Day program. Embroidery and Aurelia Friendly Squares plan gatherings with hosts and times. A.C.C. meeting minutes report officers elected and attendees, plus Christmas luncheon committee and a silent auction planning.
Official publication notice announces a public hearing at 1 15 P M in Aurelia Iowa to appeal the Zoning Administration decision denying a building permit to Leland Galvin of Aurelia.

The treasury was held after a meeting and several households hosted visitors from California Illinois and Minnesota.
