Aurelia Plans Fire Station in Public Hearing and Letting

Official notice for sealed proposals due by 8:00 PM August 13 1962 for construction of a rectangular concrete block fire station in Aurelia Cherokee County Iowa. Public hearing on plans specifications and contract form to be held at Town Hall with objections allowed. Prospective bidders must submit on town forms with a 5 percent bid bond and comply with payment and bonding terms including 100 percent performance bond and 90 percent monthly payments. work to begin by September 1 1962 and finish by December 1 1962.
