Golden Phantoms of the Lost Mines Tale of the Hill of Silver
A century ago eleven men led by James and Rozin Bowie sought the legendary Hill of Silver near the San Saba river in Texas. They faced ambush, injury, and delays while chasing the mine said to be rich in silver, with later searches and scattered relics fueling ongoing legends in Mexican and Texas archives.
