Friendship club met Mrs Irene Anderson last Wednesday with sixteen members and four guests. Luella Jahn chaired the business session and secret pal exchanges followed. Picnic for Friendship club families occurred Sunday at Aurelia park with fourteen families attending. Afton 4-H girls met at LaVonne Pingel’s Tuesday July 15 with thirteen present and a booth idea for achievement day demonstrated by the group. Local Achievement Day planned for August 4 at the Community building. Coun try Ramblers 4-H met Norma Wilson’s home July 10 with nine members and two leaders. plans discussed for ice cream social and local achievement day to be held July 28 at the Congregational church in Aurelia.
