Local residents and guests circulated through households last week. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Lyon and Bob and Kristine of Des Moines called on the George Parrott home. Mrs. Bessie Gordon traveled to Sioux City for a weekend with the Wayne Gordon family. Glynn Allan of Dickson, QL visited Mrs. Harrison Dukes, and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Peterson and family visited the Herbert Peterson home. Tami Peterson returned home after spending time with her grandparents. Herbert Peterson and his wife hosted relatives recently.
Firefighters respond to a gas fumes incident at the Buddenhagen residence when a water heater pilot light ignited fumes after Mrs. Buddenhagen used garage gas to clean clothes. The blaze was extinguished with minimal damage. no injuries reported.
Richard Larson visits Cedar Falls and calls on Charles Rayburn family in Clear Lake. Rev and Mrs E Wayne Hilmer of Geneva visit Henry Anderson home. Charlotte Moeller from Fort Dodge stays with Lars Mark family. Several relatives from Minnesota call on Harrison Dubes home. Edwin Holmberg group tours Black Hills and Colorado. Darrell Scales attends Carla Ann Criswell and Donald Scales wedding in Le Mars. Darrell is best man. Mrs Harold Nelson and grandchildren visit their aunt for the week.
