The Aurelia Sentinel informs readers that the paper will not stop at expiration dates unless notified and that continuing subscribers remain obligated to pay for renewed issues. E C Lighter, proprietor, Aurelia Iowa, publishes every Thursday.
Relatives in Iroquois South Dakota announce the birth of a son on June 80 to Virgil Sawvell and his wife. Visits include Wilma Svenksen of near Hanover, and numerous local social events across Mt Olive with church youth programs, threshing gatherings, and relief from storm damage. Attendees include S J Campbell Dorothy Quimby and Anna Anderson Aurelia with others from Holstein Cherokee Aurelia Quimby and Storm Lake Baptist church programs.
Mr and Mrs Lincoln Hahn and children visited Friday and Sunday afternoon in the Dan Hahn home near Quimby. Miss Marvel Hahn returned home after a week visiting at the L Hahn residence.
The column records a picnic for the losing side of a local contest at Wescott park with a treasure hunt won by Mrs. Maude Robinson. It also lists visits and small gatherings among residents and relatives from Aurelia Larrabee Sterling Rembrandt Sutherland Cherokee and Alta with multiple households hosting guests.
Mrs. Charles Robinson of Chicago visited overnight in the Haight home. A and E club hosted by Mrs. Orlyn Gibbons. Dozens of local families and relatives attended gatherings and reunions across Aurelia Storm Lake LeMars and Linn Grove. Mrs. Robinson departed Tuesday evening returning to Chicago after a week with relatives.
The Diamond Center 4-H club girls met at Elsie Petersons home with six members present. They planned a weekend trip to Storm Lake and were served refreshments by the hostess at the close.
Friday group travel to Storm Lake Casino park with a food packed for three days. Members include Elsie Freese Louise Streed Alice Streed Ber nice Vera Rasche Margueritte Haight Viola Marquardt Erna Otto and Mrs Vernon Anderson. Additional attendees Dorothy Linquist Annie Freese and Sunday picnic with Freese Rasche Streed Marquardt families. Also visits to Hankinson and Linn Grove reunions and birthdays noted.
