A shower for Mrs. Dave Twiford the former Denise Allen will take place at the United Methodist Church in Aurelia on Saturday January 31 starting with a 1 00 p m salad luncheon. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
Social Items note Diamond Doers dinner at Ken a-Bob's on Thursday January 29 at 7 p.m. A farewell for M and Mrs Willard Stief at the Community Center included 12 card tables and a carry-in lunch as the Stiefs move from the farm to Alta. PLEF meets at the hall today at 2 p.m. Hostesses are Mrs Paulline Wieland and Mrs Rasmus Christensen. Birthday Club gathered at Mrs Don Smith's home to honor Mrs Max Martinsen and Mrs Lorenz Roth with a potluck dinner hosted by Mrs Smith and Mr John Pearson. Frid ay activities include a coffee for Mrs Ben Erdman and Mrs Lorenz Koth. Visitors to the Lorenz Koth home include Mr and Mrs Harvey Koth of Alta, Mr and Mrs Merle Madsen, and Mr and Mrs John Pearson. birthday cake and homemade ice cream were served.
