Funeral Held for Mrs Abba Gerjets in Aurelia

Funeral services for Mrs Abba Gerjets were conducted Thursday at her daughter’s home in Aurelia and at the Congregational church. Rev Edwin Trigg led the rites with Rev Lloyd Scheerer assisting. Burial was in Aurelia cemetery beside her husband who died last September. She was 61, born February 4 1875 in Rankin Illinois and died February 8 1936 after long illness. Survivors include four sons and five daughters, 29 grandchildren, and several siblings.
