Farewell party for Samuelsons before move to Silver Township farm

Marcus Winners Dominate County Contest At Washta
Marcus high school contestants took first place and the silver loving cup in the county contest at Washta last Thursday. Esther Nelson of Aurelia was second in the dramatic class and Frances Person third in the humorous class. Mahlon Reckoff missed the oratorical class due to illness. Aurelia entrants advance to the state contest in Alta on February 27 with reps from Alta Fairview and Truesdale.
