Mayflower circle met at Mrs. Wilbur Patten's home with eight members and three guests. Open house for Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Phipps' 40th wedding anniversary drew 125 despite fog, with grandchildren, music, poems, flowers, and cards. Friendship club gave a farewell to Mr. and Mrs. Booth as they move to Moline. Desert Bridge and other afternoon gatherings continued with prizes and lunch.
