Wedding Bells for Pence in Cedar Rapids Residence
A home wedding occurred January 19 at 442 Fourth Avenue West Cedar Rapids. Miss Ella Watson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Watson, married Dr. De Rey Willan Pence of Balour North Dakota. The Rev. A. Franklin Smiley officiated at the Second Presbyterian church. Bridesmaid Miss Christie Pence and attendants Miss Allan Wallace and Dr. George Johnson accompanied the couple. Guests included relatives from Maquoketa and Iowa City. After a modest reception, the newlyweds left for their future home in Hallour, North Dakota. Dr. Pence is a Rust Medical College graduate and practicing physician in Rabtour, ND.

A second coach train No 25 leaves Chicago at 6:95 pm to New Orleans at 11:30 pm next day. A Wednesday Chicago to Saint Francis ex via New Orleans sleeping car train and a through sleeping car plus library cars operate, with the New Orleans fast day train leaving at 10:00 am and arriving 10:55 am next morning, connecting with Sunset Limited for Houston San Antonio and San Francisco. Separate train schedules include the Sonat Limited from New Orleans at 11:60 am. Ticket agents listed.
