Community Socials and Showers Highlight Local Week
Social Items Nay-bor-ettes meet at Mrs. Wilbur Patten’s home on Tuesday afternoon. Aurelia Friendly Seniors at the Community Center with 75 attendees heard a vice chair Annetta Johns lead the business, bingo, a sing along, and dancing music by Mrs. Russell Allen and Howard Witcombe. Pincohl Club hosted by Mrs. Hugo Hucke with guests and a high score prize by Mrs. Bob Forbes. Debra Peterson and David Rock were honored at multiple showers across Carroll with gifts, lunches, corsages, and program by local hostesses. The A.C.C. met with 12 members and one guest, Ronald Peck, discussing bylaw changes and a Christmas charity thank you as prize winners were named. The next gathering is planned for Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Ronald Nelson.
