Sunday school children teachers and the superintendent at St John's and Emmanuel Lutheran enjoyed a Christmas party in the school basement last Saturday. Pastor Dennis Schultz and his wife hosted the event and led a gift exchange at the close of the afternoon.
Numerous families from Storm Lake Jackson and Stuartville joined for Christmas Eve dinners gift exchanges and carols with guests from Battle Creek Mich and New Ulm Minn. Weekend services were held for Mrs Hinkeldey Mrs Lichtenberg and Mr Behrens in Hanover Alta reflecting a somber close to the holiday period.
We thank the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department for prompt assistance in answering our fire call on December 23. Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Hucke.
