Community women share Christmas, retirement news in Afton items
Afton Homemakers met December 15 at the Community Building with 14 present for the annual Christmas party. They planned a 12:30 potluck, held a gift exchange, and heard poems. Activities included evidence of charity, demonstrations planned for February 16, and social games with refreshments. Freelance clubs and church groups covered charity stamps, money for a home, and a church program. Open house for Mr. and Mrs. L. Davis’ golden anniversary is announced for December 27 at First Congregational Church Peterson.
